Rede Coming soon to iPhone

Family map

Where everyone is

At school, at work, on the way home. The family map shows where each person is and how much battery they've got, and anyone can pause it.

Coming soon to iPhoneSee everything in Rede

Open the map in Rede and you see where each person is right now, and how much battery their phone has left. It uses little power. Anyone can turn off sharing their location at any time, and the last place they were seen goes with it. The map comes with the rest of Rede, the calendar, chat, photos and the family's email, for $149.99 once.

What the map does

Places you name

Home, school, the sports hall. The map says "at school" instead of a street address.

Battery too

See whose phone is about to die before you start worrying.

On your wrist

Rede on Apple Watch shows who's where at a glance, with directions to them.

Pause any time

Turn off Share my location and your family sees no place for you. The last one is removed.

Light on battery

Rede asks for location in a way that uses little power.

You see who asked

If someone connects an AI assistant, you can see when it asked where you are, and you can turn that off.

What it doesn't do

No crash detection, no alerts when someone arrives or leaves, and no location history. If you need those, Life360 has them.

Questions

Can I see where my family is without a subscription?

Yes. In Rede the map is part of the one purchase of $149.99 for the whole family, and Apple's Find My is free too.

Can my child turn location sharing off?

Yes. Everyone can pause sharing their own location at any time, and the family then sees no place for them.

Does Rede keep a history of where we've been?

No. The map shows where people are now, not where they've been.

Rede next to the others

Make room for the whole family.
