Family calendar
The family's shared calendar
Dentist, netball and grandma's birthday in one calendar the whole family can see and add to. Each person has a colour.

What the calendar does
What's on the fridge calendar, plus what paper can't do.
A colour each
See at a glance who's doing what. An event can be for one person, a few or the whole family.
Everyone sees it straight away
Move the dentist and the rest of the family sees it at once. No crossing out, no arrows.
Reminders
A notification on your phone before it starts, and a nudge when someone in the family has a birthday.
Repeating events
Training every Tuesday, swimming every other week, club fees every month. Enter it once.
In Apple and Google Calendar too
Subscribe to the family calendar from the calendar you already use at work, and its events show up there.
Write it like you'd say it
“Dentist Friday at 9 for Alfie” becomes an event with a time and a person. Only if you turn it on.
The school's dates, straight into the calendar
One address for the school
Your family gets its own email address, like taylor@rede.life. Give it to the school, the club and the dentist.
Everyone sees what arrives
Mail to the address lands in everyone's inbox in Rede, with its attachments.
One tap and it's an event
If a mail has a date in it, one tap puts it in the calendar.

On paper or on your phone?
The calendar on the fridge is good. It's always there, and anyone can write on it. It just stays at home when you go out.
| On paper | In Rede | |
|---|---|---|
| Always visible in the kitchen | Yes | When you look at your phone |
| With you when you're out | No | Yes, on everyone's phone |
| Who's doing what | If you can read the handwriting | A colour for each person |
| When something moves | Crossings-out and arrows | Everyone sees it straight away |
| Repeating events | Written in every time | Entered once |
| Reminders | No | Yes |
| Every year | A new calendar | The same one, bought once |
Still want something on the fridge? Every month, the Family Newspaper puts the family's photos, birthdays and next month's plans into a real newspaper. The PDF is included with Rede; on paper it's DKK 79 a month.
One price for the whole family
One person buys Rede once, for $149.99, and the partner, the children and the grandparents are all in. There's no subscription to renew or cancel, and you can try everything free for 14 days first.
Questions about the family calendar
What should a good family calendar app do?
Show who's doing what, remind you in time and be as easy for children and grandparents as for you. In Rede each person has a colour, events can repeat and reminders come to your phone.
Can the whole family use the calendar if only one person pays?
Yes. One person buys Rede once, and it's unlocked for everyone in the family on all their devices. Joining costs nothing.
Does it work with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar?
Yes, you can subscribe to the family calendar from Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and others, and its events show up there. They're made and changed in Rede, though.
Is it a subscription?
No. Rede is $149.99 once for the whole family, with every future update, and only the printed Family Newspaper costs anything each month.
Who can see our calendar?
Only the members of your family. There are no ads or tracking, your events are never sold, and AI suggestions stay off until you turn them on.
Is Rede on Android?
Not yet. Rede starts on iPhone and Apple Watch, then Mac, the web and Android follow, and your purchase covers them too.
