Family chat
One chat for the family
One chat for everyone, plus a private one with each person. Photos, reactions and "who's picking up Alfie?" in one place.
Rede has one chat for the whole family and a private one with each person. Sophie writes that she's at netball until 6, you send a 👍 from the notification or your Apple Watch, and that's sorted. Photos go in the same chat. Nobody outside the family can join, and there are no ads.

Photos in the chat
Send a photo in the chat, and the album is one tab away.

No phone numbers to swap and no one outside the family in the group.
Next to the rest
The calendar, the map and the family's mail are in the same app.
Questions
Is the family chat private?
Yes. Only your family is in it, there are no ads, and messages are never sold or shared.
Can grandparents join?
Yes, and joining costs nothing. Invite them with a link or a 6-character code.
Why not just a group in Messages or WhatsApp?
You can, and for talking it works fine. Rede keeps the chat next to the family's calendar, photos, map and mail, so plans don't get lost in the scroll.
